  Maisara Rahman is a great example of what not to do as a doctor. Actually makes me sad knowing she’s training a future PA. My ear has been blocked since 10/24. Urgent care showed fluid in it (after initial diagnosis of excess wax)- after weeks of no improvement I went to Rahman and she cleared it and rushed me out of the room. Less than a week later I came back and insisted she take another look...surprise...I need to be on antibiotics because it’s infected and there’s fluid behind my ear drum. On top of everything else she doesn’t listen and makes up patient information. I was discussing an issue I’m having and she turns around to the PA student and says that I was circumcised as a child and that’s when the issue started. I had to correct her and inform her that her info was inaccurate and that I never said that’s when the issue started. She also said I need a pregnancy test before renewing my birth control, but never requested one to be done. Once again, I was rushed out without everything being covered and she didn’t even ask/remember that she had said I need to do the test. She also kept insisting that bumps I was telling her I was getting under armpits, vagina, and anal area were in grown hair bumps from shaving. I know what In grown hair is and this wasn’t it. The bumps weren’t limited to where hair grows and usually spread to my inner thighs and arms. Recently they also started appearing on the back of my hands. I showed her the bumps and she said she didn’t see anything. I showed bumps to nurse and she was able to see them and had to go communicate that to Rahman. I took a picture of my hands and you can clearly see the bumps. I also tried explaining to her that I’ve been experiencing light headed ness when doing cardio, and she kept insisting that I was pushing myself too hard. I’ve been runnng for over 10 years - I know what my body is capable of. If I’ve been running 5+ miles with zero issues, it makes no sense that I can now all of a sudden not even run a mile. I’m not trying to do a marathon when issue happens, I can’t do a LIGHT jog for more than 2 mins without getting dizzy and nauseous. Light = 4.0 speed on treadmill which is a fast walking pace for most individuals. Currently exploring my legal options for the ear infection.
